Since 1989 suitcases have made their appearance in Ronald Tolmans' work. In prints, drawings, paintings as well as in large and small sculpture. A theme that is sometimes picked up again unexpectedly. We never see repeats, but a new and original interpretation, unexpectedly and fresh.
